24th Annual Neshaminy Civil War Reenactment


The 24th annual reenactment at Neshaminy State Park will be April 20-21. This years theme is "Mine Run Campaign – 1863."

The free event will be open each day from 9 to 4, with battles at about 2:30. During the day visitors can take in the camps, dress parade and drill, military demonstrations, hospital scenarios, concerts and civilian activities. Participating African-American regiments, portraying United States Colored Troops (USCT) , the historically black units (HBU), will have an exhibit which will display weapons and artifacts used by soldiers of the period.
