Below is a youtube link regarding the Surrender of Secession event held in Westville, Georgia on October 24-28, 2012. Recall that that there was a mass call for USCTs to participate in this event as it was 1865. Also, there was a call for African American civilians. I've included the previous messages on this event.
It looks to have been very good event. I recognize several acquaintances (Becky Crabb etc). However, it appears that no USCTs participated BUT there are African American civilians. Hopefully, the invitation will be extended again. If anyone recognizes any of the African American participants, please identify. It was great that they attended. Total immersion events are far and few between.
